CAMPAIGN UPDATES

Thank You!

A heartfelt thank you to all of you for participating in the Doctors Without Borders ‘Be There 1st’ campaign. Your support for our Emergency Relief Fund allows Doctors Without Borders the freedom to provide immediate medical care to victims of armed conflict, epidemics and natural disasters. We’re so grateful for your generosity and commitment to our work around the world. Together, we are saving lives.

Tell us what you think.

We want to hear from you how we can make Be There 1st even better. Look for a survey from the Be There 1st team following the close of the campaign. Your feedback is vital to our future success!

Today is the last day of the campaign!
Here are a few things you can do to reach your goal:

  • Send every one of your contacts an email encouraging them to get involved.
  • Send a reminder message to friends, family members and colleagues who may not have made a donation after your initial email. Let them know that you need their help and time is of the essence!
  • Thank your donors and send them an update on your fundraising progress. Your thoughtfulness will make your donors feel great and may even prompt another gift!
  • Small gifts add up! Ask all your friends, family members, and colleagues to donate just $5 each. That can go a long way to helping you meet your goal!

Your success prompts the Be There 1st team to think big!

Your hard work is paying off! We increased our campaign fundraising goal to save as many lives as possible. Your support for our Emergency Relief Fund allows Doctors Without Borders the freedom to provide immediate medical care to victims of armed conflict, epidemics and natural disasters around the world. Please help us reach our new goal—together, we can make a real difference in the lives of the women, children and men we treat.

Join us for a very special event!

You’ve just spent the past two months getting an inside view of what it’s like to work on an emergency response team with MSF. On December 14, 2009, we are inviting you to join us for a nationwide screening of Living in Emergency, a documentary showing uncensored footage from MSF projects in Congo and Liberia, followed by a live panel discussion with Elizabeth Vargas of ABC’s 20/20. Visit www.doctorswithoutborders.org for more information and to be part of this one-night event.
